Delayed Order, Conflicting Communication & In-Store Conduct

Dear Mr Price Sport Customer Care Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an outstanding order and the unacceptable service I have received.

Order timeline and issues experienced:

25 January 2026: I placed an online order with Mr Price Sport.

26 January 2026: I received confirmation that the order had been shipped.

4 February 2026: I contacted Mr Price Sport via WhatsApp to enquire about the delivery status. I was advised that my order would be delivered to the store that same day.

5 February 2026: As the package did not arrive, I contacted WhatsApp support again and was informed that delivery would now occur on 5 February.

When I went to the store on 5 February, the order was not there. The cashier on duty, Nobathle, raised her voice at me in front of other customers. I found this behaviour extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was simply enquiring about an order that I had been repeatedly assured would be delivered that day.

I was further informed that no orders were being processed due to stock take.

Later that evening, I contacted Mr Price Sport WhatsApp support again and spoke to Swazi, who advised me to wait while she contacted the delivery company to investigate. To date, I have received no feedback, update, or resolution.

My concerns are the following:

Where is my order?

Why has it taken so long after being marked as “shipped”?

Why was I repeatedly advised to visit the store when the order was not available?

Why was I treated disrespectfully in-store while acting on instructions provided by your WhatsApp support team?

I have incurred unnecessary inconvenience by travelling to the store multiple times based on incorrect information provided by your representatives. This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable.

I expect:

Immediate clarification on the status and location of my order

Prompt delivery of the order

Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused and the poor service received

Dear Charlene

We are deeply concerned reading your post and we do apologise for the disappointing experience both instore and online. The matter will be escalated and you will be contacted personally and via other channels. The issue of disrespect will be also investigated and appropriate action taken as this is not the level of customer service we would like you to experience. I believe the messages you received regarding delivery were correct, however were probably not aware of the delay in deliveries due to the store stocktake, which is no excuse but we will ensure that this is also rectified for other customers who may be impacted. Thank you so much for bringing the matter to our attention.

Please Standby

Sincerely
MR PRICE SPORT
