Trust you’re doing fine...

I’m not happy at all about the services i received at Mr price sport Vaal mall.

I bought the jacket on the 10 May 2018. A day later when I wanted to wear the sad jacket I saw a stain like substance on the jacket, and I tried to wipe off the stain with no success so as a customer I returned to the store for assistance but the manager told me that their merchandise is never with fault(damage) implying that I am responsible for that stain on the jacket... and with all due respect, I have been buying clothes for years now and I have never put stains on new clothes, not even on old clothes, but this one is worse because I had never even wore the jacket, it is still new. How can that manager say that I’m the one responsible? As a customer the only thing I check when I buy clothes is the size I want and not the faulty parts as I don’t expect to find such, but in this case the jacket is faulty... and that is all I checked, not stains not scratches or broken zippers or anything, and I did not check stains because I didn’t expect to find any and then the manager says she is certain when the jacket left their store it was checked and no fault was found... (all I can say to that is “I am not a child and she shouldn’t treat me like one”. And as a customer I can’t buy a product and only realise later that it is faulty only to find myself stuck with that product and no one to help (I know one thing though... I am not going to wear that jacket and anyway how am I to explain to friends and family that it’s a new jacket but it came with a stain and now it’s my responsibility to check everything I buy at Mr Price Sport)

One thing i know is that the manager did not check the jacket , if she did i want prove because she insisted that it was not damaged. I will never recommend the store to anyone at all. I called head office yesterday till today no respond
