COMPLAINT

I encountered an issue at Mr Price Sport in East Rand Mall on 23 August 2025. I purchased clothing totaling R1,044.45. At the till, I was asked to swipe my card twice because the staff claimed the first transaction did not go through. However, both transactions were debited from my bank account. Since then, I have been calling for assistance all week and have been passed from one person to another. Eventually, I managed to speak with the store manager at East Rand Mall. They requested my bank statement, card number, full name, and account number. Now, I am being told to fill out a form and send it to Absa to request a reversal. I am very disappointed with the handling of this matter by the store. Furthermore, this delay has put me in a very difficult financial position
