Bad Service
I went shopping on 25 May 2015 at Mr Price Sport, George. When I was asked to produce my credit card for payment for the THIRD time, I decided not to proceed with the transaction as I thought it a bit *****. Apparently the personnel was having trouble with their system. I told the cashier that I received a notification via my bank that my payment of R519,98 was processed, but the cashier insisted that the transaction was not processed by her system. I the handed the goods over to the cashier and she (Nellie) promised that the situation will be corrected if it does turn out that the transaction was processed after all.

I obtained a bank statement with proof that the transaction was indeed processed and I returned to Mr Price Sport to ask my money back. Today is the 22nd of June. I am still waiting. Their promises to phone me back are exactly that - promises. Apparently Nellie of the local branch is speaking with a Wonga person from their accounts department who keeps on telling her that the transaction has been given over to their Absa branch, whatever that means. Nellie also promised me the contact details of her senior, but to no avail.

A Botha
