2nd time , same review! No response from Mr PRICE!!! Beyond disgusted...
Yesterday I went to Cresta to buy swimming gear for my family. I got everything and it came to around R1955. I bought the floating swimming costume for a toddler at R499, 3-4 years. When I got home , my son fitted it on and it was too big. There was also a small flaw on the costume. Today I went to Mr Price Woodmead as I was aware that the Cresta branch did not have a smaller size. I asked the cashier(Cresta)to check for me and she confirmed this. As my husband and I walked in , your unprofessional staff member, Linah Mazibuko advised us that the costume starts from 5-6 years, I advised her that I bought a 3-4. Without even checking she said you don't have it! We asked her to please check as I know they start at 2-3 years. We found the 2-3 years in a different colour. Then I queried the price difference as your price was R599 and I paid R499. The staff member said that the codes are different. she was asking us for the codes. How can I give her codes. I asked to speak the manager , after waiting for 15 minutes she told me that the codes are different. Then I said " that I was waiting for her manager like I initially asked" Clinton came and also spoke about codes and said that the costume was different because of the colours and some velcro. He called the manager (France) at the Cresta branch and he said by looking at the system that the item was R599. Clinton said that I must pay R599 . The more I tried to explain the more they did not understand. Then I went to check the codes on the costumes and guess what ... the codes were different however there was one that was the same at the item that I wanted to return. I showed him that the codes were the same and that the prize should surely be the same, I have photos to prove this! He told another cashier to ring it up for R499 and give me the 2-3 years... which she still did not do! Then I asked her how much is the costume and she said R599 , we had to call the manager again. We also bought aqua shoes (3 pairs) , the price shows R99 but we must pay R119! So clearly your prices have increased but you failed to ensure that the prices are changed on the actual items. This seems to me like ****************. Absolutely disgusted by the putrid service received. There are millions of South Africans that are in dire need for a job, get rid of that useless Linah. She also **** to our faces in front of the manager. my husband had to reiterate the pathetic service we received from the time we walked in, Clinton said that he will take it up with her, surely the owner should know that Linah is practically chasing your customers away! I would love to know how will you rectify this! Where was treating the customer fairly in this whole ordeal?
