Wrong expensive items delivered to us

On Monday this week (7th July 2025) we received a big delivery from Mr Price Home from City Logistics.

Despite telling the delivery person that those parcels are not ours, he insisted its ours and I can see the delivery information is the same as ours but the recipient name was someone we don't know.

For context, we have a gift registry with MrP Home so deliveries have been ongoing for the past few weeks. We knew those items delivered didn't seem to be of things we have on the registry as they were too big. The delivery driver said he'll note it down but on his side he has to deliver it to us.

We've since confirmed those items were not on our registry so we have someone else's order delivered to us by mistake. We made numerous calls, its almost as if we are beginning MrP Home to take these items away, some items costing R12000 each. This is not on and is taking up so much space in our lounge as we wait for someone to pick it up.

We've been wasting airtime being put on hold and chatting over WhatsApp trying to ensure someone's order is returned to them, and to also check if any of our items might have been delivered to the wrong person.

I'm extremely disappointed and very tempted to take this up further. I'll be selling these items if no action is taken.
