Wont accept money

Today we were in Mr Price Home in Lephalale. When paying cash the cashier did not want to take a R200 note that Nedbank gave us 1 hour prior to this transaction. The note is an older version of the leopard on and not counterfeit in any way. I asked to speak to the manager aswell to clear this matter. But him also refused without even looking at the money. I asked whether they would rather loose a R700 with no reply. Took my money and left the items. This was a very disappointing and discussed situation. How do you treat customers like that. Seems you make enough money to be able to refuse some.
