Voucher In store Purchases

2 weeks ago I had a bridal shower One of my friends who stays in Gauteng couldn’t make it to the Eastern Cape. She opted for getting me a voucher at Mr Price Home. She immediately sends me the picture of the voucher and the receipt (It was no communicated to her what the voucher can and cannot do. The reason why I say this is because she wouldn’t have bought that type of voucher. Because we knew we were not going to see each other anytime soon for her to hand over it to me)

I was only able to redeem it today Only to be told I can’t because they need the actual card Why was that not explained to her when she went to buy? When I called the call centre to receive assistance as I went twice to the store already only to be told to wait for a call The call centre agent Noni was very rude that she even dropped the call while I’m talking. Without wanting to give me her surname which I also found very rude

All I wanted to find out was can’t my friend who bought the voucher go back in store and the managers liaise with each other so they know this isn’t any *****

Now there are items on promotion that will be bought by other clients while they’re still investigating 🥺 which is unfair on me
