Used rusted bent outdoor set sold as new missed a table leg. Terrible condition

I take no joy in writing this but we resently purchased my mother a white steel (4 piece) outdoor set from your Boksburg store.

On opening the heavily tape wrapped pieces it became obvious that this was not a n new set but more likely a shop soiled set disassemble for our sale (at the normal price I must add)

When opening the tons of wrapping it was immediately noticed that all *****s were rusted and that the legs were bent as if they had been carelessly ripped of . We had to hammer flanges straight just to get them to line up with the *****s of of the upper chairs.

The double seaters built in *****s was completely stripped and loose and we therefore could not tighten that bolt at all.

And then to take the cake MRP Boksburg has supp**** us with one leg short for the round table as seen below rendering the table useless.

This is unacceptable, my mom used the last of her pension to purchase this just to get a second and hand rusted and mutilated set missing a critical leg.

Is this this the QC level that is acceptable to send to your clients and still charge full price when it is obviously not a new set. That said we are in anyway still one leg short for the table and as such am unable to use the ”new set” as she had envisioned.

Was she targeted as pensioner to sell of your s****?
