Unknowledgable Staff

Hi there,

I am greatly disappointed with the service I've received today at Mr Price Home Kolonnade Retail Park.

I asked one of the staff members to show me all dining chairs that is under R400. The staff member told me that there is unfortunately no chairs under R400.

However, I walk past one of the display areas and saw a chair of R400. I approached the same staff member again and asked him if he can please advise if there's other colours available in the specific chair. He just rep****: "I don't know." Thereafter, I asked him to please check for me and then he just said "Okay, I'll be right back." When he arrived back, he told me that there's white and black in the chair, which was helpful. However, when I asked him how the order and collect process work, he told me again that he doesn't know and I unfortunately need to drive all the way to Joburg to fetch it. He couldn't tell me where in Joburg I needed to fetch it, how can I order (as online was not an option) etc. I then asked him to call the supervisor to assist. After 30min, the supervisor luckily took my contact details, but also had unclear answers to a simple question.

My suggestion is to train your staff members to be knowledgeable on the products that you sold.
