“Today’s” special, not today?

Saturday morning during black Friday weekend I went to Mr Price Home at The Grove. From the outside a huge banner meets me saying “Black Friday TODAY.....” no date on the poster, and at the bottom the different discounts according to price purchased.

At the payment counter, the same board behind the cashiers.

Finally the cashier informs me, I would have saved R700 would I have come the day before. I pointed out the banners indicating “TODAY” - she simply laughed it off and so did her supervisor!

If the special was not valid any longer, the adverti*****t should not have caused confusion and Mr Price should honour their adverti*****t.

After my discussion, upon leaving the store, they one large poster had been removed.
