STAY AWAY FROM MR PRICE HOME

I am shocked at the level of service received at Mr price home in Argyle road, Durban. The store has placed manipulative pricing tags in order to sell items that have not been selling. I have seen a kids single bed for sale at the store with the normal price being R2000. The item was not selling and thereafter went on sale a few times and now was marked at R799 using a red sticker. I get to the store and choose the bed only to get to the till and be told that the bed was received from head office in 2 boxes so i need to pay 2 X R799 which is R1600. i was highly confused as there is no clear indication of this on the pricing on the floor nor did any of the 3 sales consultants who sold me this bed mention anything. The justification is that they have had previous price errors like this but they cannot do anything as they are only following head office instructions on how to price the item and manipulate customers. apparently this can only be brought up by the store manager in the next annual finance meeting. In the interim, MR PRICE HOME is lying to customers and displaying a different price yet when they get to the till point they are charged something else. I asked to speak to the manager and they refused saying he is not in on a sunday and they will get someone to call me during the week. Here i am, still waiting for that call and assistance. There is no care and assistance from this company. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SUPPORTING THIS COMPANY THAT IS ****MING US WITH **** PRICING
