Shocking service from Mr Price Home
I am utterly frustrated with Mr Price Home. I went in-store during Level 4 lockdown and ordered a shelf for my daughter online to be delivered to Retail Crossing branch. This is already an 18km drive from my house and not just around the corner. I received an email telling me that the item had arrived so I drove another 18km to find it had not indeed been delivered. I went back on 1st June 2020 for the 3rd time (another 18km) and collected the item. Once home we wanted to assemble it, only to find it was damaged. I immediately called the help desk and was asked to send pics and complaint in an email which I did. I have spoken to so many call centre agents who all promise to call me back with feedback. Needless to say it is 16 days later - the item STILL has not been replaced and not once has anyone called me to give me feedback. I have literally called EVERY, SINGLE DAY!!!!! The courier never answers their phone seemingly from what the agent tells me. I found out today that the item was supposed to be delivered on Monday but it wasn't. I eventually told the call centre agent today that if the item isn't delivered today, then I want a full refund. This is terrible service and such a waste of my time, money, airtime and petrol. Get your act together Mr Price Home, this is no way to treat your loyal customers!
I share my experience with MRP Home / Mr Price Home fb and I get sent a R100 inconvenience voucher.
Let’s put a value to my inconvenience:
144km (4 return trips to retail crossing) about 15L petrol @ R13.96/L = R209.40
Daily calls to call centre with a minimum wait for answer 15 mins, max 30 mins - my time alone 8 hours wasted on hold at minimum wage of R15.57/h = R125 which is a joke because my time is worth a lot more than minimum wage. I would say that R100 inconvenience voucher is pretty much a slap in the face for what you’ve put me through. There is no value I can put on the stress caused and the disappointment of my 13 year old who cried in store yesterday seeing the state of the exchange item delivered ????????
