SHOCKING SERVICE FROM MR PRICE HOME

I'm absolutely livid by the service received from Mr Price Home. On Sunday my mom and I went in to Mr Price home Cavendish to get things for by soon to be baby nursery. My mom has an account that she barely uses and as a gift she said I could get the items I need. There was an issue in store and she has to get a new card replacement. after waiting 20minutes to process the card replacement we were ready to shop away. Once we got to the til, the cashier advised us that the card isnt activated and then again phoned in to the call center to find out what was going on. SHOCKER the previous lady who said she would process the card replacement DID not do it and we were told we need to wait another 20minutes for it to be done. (Bare in mind i'm heavily pregnant)

We then decided we were just going to do the order online. I then sat with my mom, ordered online, paid an addition amount for an express door to door delivery and that what was that.

I ordered on Sunday, 22 September 2019. The estimated delivery date was Wednesday, 25 September 2019. Wednesday comes and no delivery arrives. I then call in to the customer line and I'm told that due to MONDAY AND TUESDAY being HOLIDAYS, my order was only actually processed today (Wednesday).

Firstly, Monday was not a holiday, for an establishment such as Mr Price Home offering such an online service, you don't get to just count days as holidays when they fall behind a public holiday..after a nice argument with a staff member that could not answer me I was told that the order would be delivered on Friday, 27 September 2019.

My mom then gets a call to say her order would be delivered on Friday 27 September 2019. 27 September 2019 comes and only 2 items of the 11 we ordered arrive. I'm sitting with a curtain rod but can't put the curtain up because i don't have the brackets or accessories I ordered. I have now arranged for a handy man to assist me with putting the curtains but have to cancel him...

WHY OFFER an online service or A DOOR TO DOOR EXPRESS service if they are unable to fulfill their promises. My mom paid to an additional express service.

I'm really just so appalled from someone who loved Mr price home...you just falling under the categories of places I need to avoid
