Ridiculous demand on consumer to change sending details of a Gift Voucher

Beware of Buying an Online Gift Voucher. I did this morning. Sent it to the birthday child only to be told he changed numbers. So after spending 37 minutes on a pathetic Whatsapp customer line where noone ever addressed me I phoned Mr Price Home directly to ask them kindly to change the number or send it to his *** OR send it to me (the buyer) directly. And guess what.. it is not possible. I was asked to get physically to a store instead with my *** to change something as simple as THAT. At this point I said I am done and I want a refund altogether rather because I can not be bothered or hassled to drop things and get into my car during work hours. Guess what ? They say a "refund is not possible". Is that even legal in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act ? I am SO done with the Mr Price Group. Never again..
