Return of a MRP HOME couch by u really annoyed customer.
Wow I would just like to say I have received the worst service from MrP Home regarding the return of a couch. Lack of response from store level all the way to Head office. It is so disappointing that I cannot have some as simple as a couch replaced. I called Canal Walk and spoke to Robin, the manager, on the 16 June. His request was for me to send my acc details along with a description of the fault to the sleeper couch. I did this on the same day. The following day he called me for a video and I happily obliged the same day. I waited 2 days and asked for an update on the 19th. I received a call from Robin in the following week saying this has been sent to head office. On the 25th I received an email from Robin stating as he told my wife he sent paperwork to head office and awaiting feedback. Firstly I am a single man without any wife so I can only but assume that my query was never logged. I head absolutely nothing from Robin in Canal Walk since despite my emails for feedback on 3rd July, 8th July, patiently allowing time to resolve the matter. I then spoke to a young lady on the phone. She was extremely helpful attempting to send me confirmation emails and get me in touch with some in head office. Now for nightmare number 2. 9th July no feedback, 10th july a request for details sent to me. I rep**** on the same day. I sent the same email again on 13th. It is now the 14th. This is a sleeper couch with a faulty back rest. Am I expected to place a caution tape of the couch to avoid my household reclining and further damaging the couch because this had already happened. How can a collection and replacement take nearly 30 days to arrange? Should I load the couch on the roof of my car and demand a return in store from Robin myself? Should my family be seated on a cold floor because Mr P Home take 28 days to provide you with a simple update. Definitely closing my account after this experience.
