Refund woes, disinterested agents

I recently purchased a compactum at Mr Price Home (online) and returned it as it had scratches and marks. The admin team confirmed that it would be refunded once the courier company had picked up the items. They were picked up on the 23 May and to date - no refund.

The agent dealing with this matter is extremely nonchalant. S/he first said it was refunded on the 31/05. Then said it would clear by 10 June when I followed up a week later. Now today s/he says it was refunded to a gift voucher. Does this make sense to anyone reading this?

I'd like my refund processes ASAP and cleared immediately as this has gotten ridiculous.
