R5 release fee for a trolley !!! Madness
On Saturday I went to the new MR Price Home Store in Clearwater Mall. We wanted to buy a few larger items so we needed a larger trolley . Mr Price Home now wants you to pay a R 5 coin deposit to release a trolley . We did not have a R 5 coin. So then it is off to the queue to get a coin , then back to the trolleys !! Many customers just turned around and walked out. People with small children , a pram and other shopping bags were so frustrated they just got upset and left. Mr Price Home down the road in Retail Crossing has many many trolleys standing in the car park - everyone uses them and they don't make it difficult to shop. This is not consumer friendly - just a pain !!! Sorry guys but I think you need to re-think this idea !!!!!
