Pricing & barcodes
I tried to buy some scatter cushions that was on special on the priced to go shelf. I checked the price inside the pillowcase and confirmed that it was marked down to R49.99. There were five on the shelf and I took all of them. Getting to the cashier to pay; he charged me R49.99 for two of them and R99.99 for the rest. I spoke to the manager and she said its different codes therefore the different prices for the same product. I refused to pay and left the items. Upon which the manager, Celeste told Mdu the cashier to hide the cheaper pillows until the more expensive ones are sold; I am disgusted. And without an apology from the staff I was sent packing. Is this the Mr Price Home code of conduct?
