POOR WEBSITE AND MISLEADING INFORMATION

Mr Price Home's online store needs a little TLC. They are not very clear about how goods are classified and delivered. I ordered a massive order, approximately 45 items (approx R10,000) of which 4 were curtain rods (2m X35mm). These curtain rods fall under curtain accessories on their site. Apparently this is classified as furniture as it is a LARGE object (a pole I ask you, which I can fit in my car!) and is delivered separately to the rest of my order. Nowhere was I ever notified of this. I wasn't even notified on delivery of my first parcel that there is a parcel to follow. I had to phone to find out where the rods were and why they weren't delivered. Hence I have received everything except the curtain rods which I needed desperately by this weekend. Had I known upfront I would not have ordered them and gone to the nearest supplier to my home and bought them. Please be aware of how certain items are classified on the Mr Price Home site and delivered. It is not transparent on their site and it can be of a huge inconvenience to yourself. And in all honesty don't waste you time phoning and asking what now as they very simply don't care. Curtain rods are furniture and need a MASSIVE truck to deliver them. Absolute joke!
