Poor Service Mr Price Home Moffet Retail Park

My wife and I were looking for couches.

Looking at all our options we decided to go to Mr price home at Moffet retail Park in Port Elizabeth and we found a couch that we very much liked.

On the couch was a large red price tag showing R8500

My wife then walked into the store on the Tuesday and they said no the price is R9000. She said that that is not the case and took the salesperson to the couch and showed them the price.

They said that this is the instore price and the online price is R9000.

She said that she is here in store to buy the couch and hence she would like to pay R8500.

After days of back and forth with personnel and even the manager not speaking to her directly (always speaking through the sales person) there is still no resolution.

They keep saying that they are contacting head office to resolve the issue however still no feedback.

This in my opinion is plain incompetence or pure laziness from the people that work there in that the in store management are puppets and not willing to make the required decisions.

When it comes to head office after a whole week of my wife calling them she was unable to get through.

This is shows that they do not actually care about the customers that they rely so heavily on just walking into their store and opening their wallets in paying their salaries in the long run
