Poor quality

Towards the end of last year I purchased a really cute girly clock for my daughter from mr price home in umgeni for R100! After inserting a new battery in it twice in two weeks the clock stopped working.i tried new batteries many more times only to find it worked for few days then stopped.i removed the clock n kept it aside.this year I purchased another cute clock from bosburg but to my amazement and disappointment the same thing happened.i did not retain the slips thinking mr price to be a store with good quality.the only thing that comes to mind is faulty mechanism!!!what a waste of money and a big dissapointment!please improve the quality of your goods
