Poor Poor Quality Items and Service MR Price Home Port Elizabeth!

I purchased a coat hanger in rose gold on sale for R200 and a hand made rug for about just over R500. Both items have been in my position for a month-2 months when we decided to return it. The first attempt the waiting was so long and we asked the manager at mr price william moffet if we could leave the items there, write the contact details down and collect either refund or voucher at a later stage. He said no you have to wait. We said it is too long now as there is only one till working but he said he cannot help us we will have to come back another day. So we did. another 2 weeks later when we had time to return we did. The coat hanger has rose gold hangers and the reason for return is before we got to hang it in our home the rose gold started rusting. The shop advised us to either take R50 for the return and we paid R200 or to spray paint it ourselves to look better. The rug instructions indicate to wipe with a cloth for cleaning. The navy print smears completely over the cream back ground looking like an absolute disaster. They refuse to assist saying it has been used and it is not their issue. My issue of the 2 goods is purely the quality of the items purchased. I too have items from At home, Azurro etc in my home and persian carpets. I am not an idiot when i spend money. But this **** for the laundry room is not working out well for me. I want the items returned. I am not keeping a rusted coat hanger i dont want rust on the laundry. And i am not keeping a carpet i cannot clean.
