Poor packaging. Lazy staff

To whom it may concern

I am writing this message to express my disappointment and frankly my irritation with your Mr Price Home Store at Brits Mall North West Province.

I purchased a beautiful and very fragile large hour glass for my daughter as a gift, as she writes her last final Matric exams finishing off in three weeks. The gift was broken by the time I reached home.

I am an honest person and would accept full responsibility for the breakage as it cannot be proved that I didn't handle the package roughly, but when I looked into the bag, not only had it been packed with 4 heavy candles, but it had also been extremely poorly wrapped with less than a poster size torn paper.

That the hour glass was given no special attention when clearly it was such a fragile expensive item really upsets me.

I spent R1772 in your store yesterday and I'm really annoyed that it appears your customers and their purchases don't get treated with respect.

Please keep another hour glass aside for me. I intend to take this matter to your head office. I have attached photos to show poor packaging as well as the till slip.
