Online order not delivered in promised time

i placed an order online on Tuesday to be delivered via express door to door. i expected my stuff by Friday (today) as it said 1-3 working days. i got a call late Wednesday afternoon to confirm my order and she informed me it will take 1-3 days from Wednesday. so i paid R70 for nothing???? i refuse to accept this and i told her repeatedly i need the stuff by Saturday. this was for a very special evening i planned as part of my job. now i may lose a customer due to your stupidity. i want my stuff by tomorrow morning latest or i will take this further and i will close my account. i will also spread the word of your service on every public forum i possibly can. i will never set foot in your stores again. this is not a threat, just stating the facts.
