NO cash - time wasted / frustrated customer
I purchased some d?cor items for our offices yesterday. Some items weren't suitable and I went to the store first thing this morning (just after 09:00) to get a refund. To my dismay, I was told that they have no cash to refund me with - only a float of R100. I was totally shocked! My exact comment was you are a retail store, you are open for business and you have no cash?! A voucher or gift card wouldn't do it as I paid in cash and it is my company's cash that needs to be refunded. I was told to come back later in the day when they should have cash after trading! Do you mean to tell me this is Mr P Home's policy ie. no cash in the store. I cannot believe it and am totally mortified. So now I have to get in my car, use my petrol and my time and ultimately company's time to go back to the store Again later today and HOPE they have cash.<br> I find this entire scenario unacceptable.
