Order ********** 08272 , In October i decided to purchase a rocking chair online, which was delivered. It was supposed to be a gift for a friend , when she opened it was faulty.

I requested for the chair to be collected for a replacement, that was done and another chair was delivered to my friend. Same thing again it was faulty and again it was collected then delivered back.

But yet again with the 3rd chair it was faulty. That’s when I decided to requested for a refund so my friend can go in store to buy the chair.

I had initially paid from my debit card (ABSA), which I closed on the 17 December 2016, I was under the impression that I had paid from my credit card(Nedbank)

The refund was processed and paid to my ABSA Card on the 29 December 2016, after the 16 January 2016 waiting for the money not coming in I checked and realised it was from Absa, I went to the bank and they gave me a statement ,which shows that the account what closed on the 17 Dec 2016, no pending amount and that its at 0.00.

I have sent the statement to MRPH to inform them of this, and have been requesting for the finance to check when the money was returned because to my understanding and what the bank advised, if the money gets paid to the wrong account it will bounce back…..i keep getting the same answer that it was paid and I keep saying I don’t dispute that. But the money should have bounced back and someone needs to check, could be an unallocated payment on MRPH bank statement.

I’m frustrated now, have been very calm and understood that I was at fault or did not remember the account before requesting for the refund can only speak to a consulted not a finance person or a supervisor,

I am requesting for this to be sorted, getting the same answer, I am not sure if no one understand my request,

MRPH is big I understand but I would think the same process with finance and allocation happens everywhere, the credit on the bank stamen nees to be allocated somewhere ,

so where is the R1 400.
