MRPhome.com - The WORST online shopping experience !!! Don't go there.

I bought a desk online from Mr Price Home and it turned out to be the worst online shopping experience ever. Below is my experience:

1) After my order and payment, I waited 5 days before receiving an email confirmation - Shocking as most online shops send an automated email confirmation 2) The website states that the delivery will be made within 3-5 days and after 5 WEEKS I AM STILL WAITING ON THE DELIVERY!!! 3) The courier company tried to deliver it twice but every time they collect it (?maybe from the store) the desk was damaged 4) I had a hopeful call from the courier company today that it will be delivered - but later they called as the desk they were supposed to deliver was damaged!! It appears that MRP home is trying to deliver a display item used in stores - while I paid for a new item. 5) I have been on the phone with the call centre for more than 3 hours today and every time I am put on hold and nobody comes back to continue the conversation. 6) MOST SHOCKING is that when I tell the call centre assistant that I have been waiting on the item for more than 5 weeks - they are not surprised, apologetic or helpful. This seems to be the usual level of service. The one said that they deal with delayed deliveries all the time!!!! 7) The last call centre assistant said she will call me back in 10 minutes and I am still waiting. 8) I was so desperate that I called all the stores in CT to check if I can collect the desk myself (although I paid R300 for delivery) but they said NO because MRPhome.com is a different store. Needless to say - NEVER AGAIN will I shop from this online store.

MRP home PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY WITH INTEREST OR DELIVER THE DESK WITHIN THE NEXT DAY!!!
