Mr price wont accept a return on an item that is 3 days late yet I must accept their late deliveries

I bought an item online and it was delivered on 31 Jan 2024, and i meant to return it as it was the wrong colour, but I fell ill and I emailed on sunday 3 March I sent an email to please ask if I can return it as I am only 3 days late for the one month policy and was refused for 3 days, i shop at Mr price every single month for over a 1000 rand and just to return an item that i am 3 days late on I am bieng told I cannot, mind you the item is still sealed not even been opened in the original box that I got it, the item was delivered late to me because the driver said that he was stuck with it on his truck then I must accept a late delivery but Mr Price cannot accept a late exchange by 3 days- absolutely pathetic
