Mr Price Home - Woodmead

As excited as I was to head to the Woodmead Mr Price Home to buy some linen, this experience was a huge dissapointment.

I will give credit where credit is due, the employees at the door as well as the cashiers, were friendly.

However, after struggling to find a certain mattress protector size for a while, and making deliberate contact with the countless floor assistants sitting on study chairs displayed about 2 meters from me multiple times, I asked whether someone could please assist me.

This was met with much disgruntlement. When someone eventually got up, her fellow colleagues started laughing.

To say I was tempted to leave my trolley and leave the store immediately, is putting it lightly.

The lady who got up asked me what I want, and took said mattress protector to check on the system whether the certain size was in stock.

It was not, I was told when she returned.

And that was that - no further assistance was provided or offered as she returned immediately to her laughing colleagues.

This whole experience made me feel quite the opposite of a valued customer. For me, Mr Price Home will forever be tinged with this unpleasant experience.
