Mr Price Home - voucher *****

We've received an in-store Mr Home Voucher worth R3 000 as a wedding gift. This voucher was purchased at Mr price Home Tygervalley in March 2020.

Subsequently we went into lockdown and decided to purchase a duvet inner at Mr Price Home at Mall of Africa which cost R1 250.

This weekend 29 August 2020, when we wanted to buy some other products with the remaining balance of our voucher at Mr Price Home Centurion Lifestyle. We were informed that the voucher had a balance of zero.

Innitially the supervisor mentioned that they have experienced issues with the vouchers and that they are aware of a few *****ilant cases, but she will phone head office.

After an hour, head office informed us that the remaining balance R1 750 was spent on 21 June 2020 at Mr Price Home N1 City in Cape Town.

I informed them that is is impossible that it was us because we live in Centurion and did not travel to Cape Town to spend the remaining balance. Lockdown made it fiscally impossible to travel from Gauteng to Cape Town.

The supervisor just said that there is nothing that she can do. I phoned customer care and they said that they also can't assist me after admidding they they also are aware of ***** on their vouchers. I've sent numerous emails but haven't received any response to date.

We had our wedding registry at Mr Price Home and really enjoyed their products, but I'm very disappointed in how they handle this case.
