Mr Price Home. The worst people who dont tell the truth. Dont do business with them
I bought a new cane lounge suite and needed cushions for it. They had to be 50cm X 50cm. I called at Mr Price Worcester and was shown the cushions I needed. They were marked 50cm X 50cm. I bought 4 as well as some scatter cushions and pillow. When I got home I found the cushions were 43cm X 43cm not as marked 50 X 50. I phoned Mr Price Home and spoke to the assistant manager and told him the problem.I suggested, as I had travelled 150km to buy them, and was elderly -79- perhaps we could take the cushions into Mr Price in Robertson who could send them to Worcester. No he said, the codes are all wrong , that cannot be done. You must come in to change them. My wife then spoke to a lady who said she was the manager. She, the manager said we were wrong as she had the same cushions in front of her and they measured correctly. She intimated we were not being truthful. There was a survey on the cash slip as us the rate Mr Price home and comment etc on service. I told them, on the survey, the sad tale. No reply after a week. My wife also wrote to the website but no reply. Then on facebook I told the sad tale and got an immediate replyasking for my contact details. I gave this to them on 10 Sept. and got a reply that the matter was escalated to the area manager. a few days later I asked if there was any news. and was told the manager will be in touch with me. That was the last I heard from them 5 days ago. They want me to travel 150 kms to change the cushions (which they falsely marked) which cost R596-00. My petrol cost alone would be more than that. Mr Price is obviously not interested in customer satisfaction and clearly mark their products incorrectly in order to sell them.
