Mr Price Home should not even have an online store.

Mr Price Home is really pathetic. I made an online purchase on the 31st of August, paid with the Cheque Card linked to my online profile, which I've used plenty of times, no problems. But after making the purchase I realized that I already had one of the items I ordered. When I went to collect my order in store, I thought to return this item I already had, for the simple reason, I don't need two and it's worth R400.00 so why have another one laying around I'm not going to use? They say sure I can return it, but since I've purchased it online they can only give me a gift card for the value of the item. When I query this, because I can't see why I should accept a gift card when I paid for the purchase out of my own pocket, from my CHEQUE ACCOUNT using a Debit Card not a Credit Card (I don't even have Credit Card). They say no I can only get my refund as a gift card as I used a credit card for the purchase. I DID NOT used a credit, was a Debit card for my Cheque Account. I showed them the actual card, clearly stating it's a Debit Card, I even show them the proof of payment from my bank, that also clearly states that the card used is a CHEQUE Account not a Credit Card. So now I'm forced to take a gift card, I DON'T want for a cash purchase. This is absolutely pathetic. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from Mr Price Home online again, or from any of their stores for that matter.
