Mr Price Home - Not impressed.

The cashier at Mr Price Home, Sandton City (Godgiven) needs to be more courteous and not give his 5cents comments when not warranted.

We went to the branch to purchase a few items and when we got to the counter advised that we were using vouchers to pay for some of the purchase and the remainder would be paid by card. He then tells us that the system is offline. We asked if we could come back the next day to pay and see if the system is back online, and he said it was fine and took my details.

I then went back the next day during my lunch break and went to the same cashier and told him I was back to purchase the goods I had left behind the previous day.

I was using my boyfriend's card as he was at work, and had forgot the pin, and when checking my watsapp for the pin, he kept presenting the card for payment, despite me telling him I was checking for the pin. I then phoned my boyfriend to ask for the pin and the cashier tells me if its my boyfriend's card I should know the pin.

The second frustration with him was when I gave him vouchers to be used, he asked for my ID. I didnt have it with me and advised that I had my driver's license. He then told me that this will not be doing him any justice. He then asked me if the ID I had was South African, despite viewing my driver's license and you can clearly see from the ID which I manually entered at his tillpoint is that of a South African ID. This not only offended me, but I had no idea that not having your ID when presenting vouchers was such a scandalous thing. Anyone can ***** those vouchers and present it for payment, so what difference it makes whether I give you an ID or driver's license, which actually has my ID number on it, as well as a picture, really leaves me wondering whether this person was in need himself of the "something for added energy" which he offered me upon my purchase.
