Mr Price Home Extremely Poor Service

On Saturday, the 6th of January 2024, I bought a Patio Dining Set from Mr Price Home, Rustenburg.

In the Branch, I was told that they do not have stock and the goods need to be ordered. I was told it would take three working days to be delivered. Thus making the delivery date, the 10th of January. On the 10th, when I phoned them, I was told by the Branch Manager, that it would take three to five working days. Making the delivery date the 12th of January 2024.

On the 12th, when following up to collect, I was told, again by the Branch Manager, that the order was incompletely delivered. Only the 8 chairs were delivered, but the table wasn’t. She could not confirm where the tables was or when a delivery date is expected.

On Wednesday, 17th of January, I went to the Branch to find out where the table was. This was 8 working days later. She phoned a person at Head Office to find out where the tables was. Even that person could not confirm where the table was. Only that it was at their Centurion Branch on the 11th. She wanted to give me the Courier Company’s contact details to phone and find out when delivery can be expected. It is not my duty to follow up on this item.

Today is the 19th of January, ten working days later (two weeks) and still neither the Branch nor Mr Price Head Office can even tell me where the table is, let alone when delivery can be expected.
