Mr Price Home Canal Walk Manager treated me terribly bad

On Sa****ay 18 June 2016 around about 12 o'clock, I went to the Mr Price Home in Canal Walk. I had to get a new card as mine was ******. When I spoke to the consultant when I cancelled my card in March, She said I may go to any store and get a new card. So here I go on Sa****ay and I spoke to one of the Cashiers and explained my situation (Unfortunatly did not get her name as no one was wearing Name Tags) and she called her manager closer. Explained to him what had happend and he asked me If I have my ID with me.

I confirmed that I had my ID with me and he appointed me to someone who looked like an assistant manager (Ruda). He did not introduce himself to me and he did not make eye contact. When he was talking to me he was leaning back on the counter behind the cashiers and could not stand up straight.

His first question to me was "Where did you open your account?" to which I rep**** and told him that I opened the account online but I think it was with Mr Price clothing. I explained to him that I was not sure if it was possible to go to MRP Home for the new card. This is when he rolled is eyes and said to me "Well, It is going to be easier to get a new card at MRP Clothing". When I asked him if it is possible to get a new card here as I do not mind waiting a little bit longer. He rolled his eyes at me again and said "Fine, I will get you a new card". Not once did he communicate to me what he is doing.

He picked up the phone and called the wrong department. Then he called again to speak to a consultant that could activate the card. When he asked me for my ID, he threw it on the counter on which he was still leaning on. suddenly he gave me the phone. The consultant was still busy explaining to him something. When I answered the phone, she asked to speak to the "gentlemen that was on the phone as she was still busy speaking to him". at this point, Ruda was standing at the other side of the counter chatting to the cashiers whilst I am trying to get his attention. He finally came to the phone and spoke to the consultant. I am not sure what he said to her, but he then gave the phone to me to verify security details. the consultant appologized profusely as this man was so rude to her and she could here how he was speaking to me too. Se finished the call with me and I was waiting for Ruda to give me my card.

Again he was standing on the other side of the counter chatting with his cashiers. Eventually he came back to me and I signed the book and the card. This man just turned around and walked away. No "Thank You", "Enjoy your day" or Bey" NOTHING.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a store as this day in my ENTIRE life!

For such a HUGE retail company, I truly though that MRP Group's standards would be a little bit better that this!
