Mr price H and city logistics useless to deliver order

Good day i bought a 3000 daybed from mr price home. Paid delivery on top of that 400 . They use a delivery company called CITY LOGISTIC which by the way is situated in durban and i am in gauteng. So the drama started in mid sept 2023.its now 4th oct 2023. 7 working days should be the longest you wait for your delivery. So their procedure which theu do not tell you about is that they phone you before the delivery . But as a customer of gauteng i do not expect a dbn number to phone me . Anycase i noticed a dbn phoned me but missed it but anycase i phone back to get through to mr p home call centre.which do not know why i was phoned and that my order is on its way... after spending time waiting for this delivery till today no delivery. . So they do not deliver unless you pick up your phone edore they reach you. If not they do not come through to address and i dont know thr goods stand around on their floor till the ***s come home. They dont try again . And you customer from that moment keep on getting thr excuse that they need an alternative number cause its your fault they could not deliver....even after several emails providing more than 1 number still their did do not get updated and the excuse of failure to deliver remains the same. By the way mr p home will promise you a refund on delivery fees but i still did not see it happen... still waiting for my delivery.... So advice rather click and collect.
