LAMP SETS sold by MRP Home

I purchased an item described as a "Lamp set" from MRP Home online, because it was not available at local stores. As it was advertised as a "Lamp Set", I assumed it was a pair of lamps. When it arrived, it was a single lamp. It is a porcelain cut out lamp, so does not have a shade. Hence it very definitely is NOT a "set". Queries with MRP and escalations, resulted in the stonewall reply of "this is a single unit". They missed the point that their description is misleading and, as such, contravenes at least 4 paragraphs of the Consumer Protection Act. And they see no reason to alter their advertising - why can't they just call it a lamp? So beware MRP purchasers. Don't buy one of their 65 advertised "lamp sets'. They are probably only a single item!
