Insufficient stock and bad service

I wanted to buy curtain rods and brackets at Mr Price Home in the Paarl Mall. The variety of rods available was fine. I chose 3 curtain rods of 35 cm. I needed 9 brackets for the 3 rods. The brackets come in packets of 2 each. The store only het 2 packets. When I enquired as to the possibility of extra stock, I was informed that the Sonerset West store het 45 packets available (54 km away). I was also informed that it would take 2 to 3 WEEKS for them to get the stock from Somerset West. Apparently the store has no inputs as " head office determines the amount of brackets sent to each store". It is ridiculous that a store stocks rods without the matching brackets. Ps. The manager was not available as she had popped out to go to Discem.
