Incorrect Pricing - Section 23 of the CPA

Visited Mr Price Home in Centurion Lifestyle Centre on Saturday, 26 April 2025 at around 13:00. My sisters and I wanted cushions for our home. Picked 4 cushions and proceeded to the till points. While queuing, we spotted that one cushion was priced R199, while the others were priced R229, with the exact same barcode and description. When we got to the cashier, we immediately alerted her about it and asked to get all 4 with the R199 price, she told us point blank that it was impossible and would only give us one for the R199 (of course because it was priced at that amount). She proceeded to tell us that she’d call her manager, the manager arrives, she is told what we had asked and she immediately tells us it isn’t allowed. I have a bit of a back and forth with her because I was not doing the price mark ups but it was like talking to someone who couldn’t reason. I, then proceeded to tell them that they can keep all their cushions and left the store furious. Why would you employ a manager who’s unreasonable and leads from the back?! I do not plan on ever returning to your franchise. It was only R90 for goodness sake, they lost R800 worth of sales because they do not know Section 23 of the Consumer Protection Act.
