Incorrect Pricing

On Sunday 14/06/2015 I was at Mr Price at Greenstone shopping center I asked for a price on a rag and was told it was R199( Kagiso ) but I was curious and asked again was he sure because some rags were far cheaper and when he checked the price again he said it was now R299 and told him that I want the first price he gave me but he said he made a mistake. I insisted to see a manager (Carter)and was so shocked when he told me that the rag is R299 and there is nothing they can do and even said that guy is not working in that department but asked why is it my problem if they make such mistake. I was so disappointed in their incompetency especially by him as an assistant manager for not being able to assist me and handling the situation well. He was even happy when I told him I'm going to take this complain further. What happened to making and keeping the customer happy???
