If you can’t build a flat pack yourself, don’t buy one from here

I have purchased many items from MrP Home over the years to furnish my apartment but unfortunately despite only having good experiences up to this point I now have a problem that is being ignored by the customer services department and I’m having to make this public.

Around April 2023 I purchased the Boston 6 drawer unit. Usually I build my own flat packs but due to the size of this unit I paid for the assembly fee. When the flat pack was assembled I was handed a bag full of extra pieces. I queried this only to be told ‘nah it’s normal’.

A few months later 3 of the drawers failed. I immediately contacted customer services thru the order - no response. I tried their contact thru their app - I would always miss their very delayed response and then when I would check again they had closed the chat. I contacted them on messenger and got an email address and that email has gone unanswered too.

There is no simply way to complain and get a response from this company. I have a broken unit which in my opinion has been caused by their team not putting it together properly - it’s R6500 down the drain at this point.

This is the last opportunity I am giving mrp home to make this right and if I get no response to this again I will be closing my account and removing myself as a customer of theirs from now on.
