i was refused credit or refund when I attemtped to return an unused rug one week after purchase, to knysna Mr Price HOME

I bought a rug at Mr Price home with my credit card on the 4th of March 2023 - which was priced at R1600 - as well as some other items. I have proof of purchase and date from my bank statement. I also have a picture of the rug completely unused with the price ticket still attached... The rug didnt fit the color scheme at home and the people at the store had told me I could take it back for a credit or refund.. So I took the rug in unused perfect condition back to knysna store with this documentation and they said they could not give me credit or refund because I could not find the original receipt from them - so they told me to contact their head office I am writing to complain and would like Me Price home to please contact me and help me out and I can supply them with the pictures of purchase from my bank statement and a picture of the rug and ticket in perfect condition...
