Horrible Experience with Mr Price Home online delivery

I ordered a gallery mirror from Mr Price Home Online for R1,400 and delivery fee of R400. Therefore a total of R1,800 on 26 April 2022 and it said that I will receive my order on the 4th of May. 8am on the 4th of May I received an email from customer support saying that my order has been damaged on transit, a new one has been ordered and it will be "delivered soon", with NO date as to when to expect it. As this was a mirror I understood that it can be damaged on transit, so I decided to give them more than 10 days to sort it out.

From then till the 16th of May my order sat at "In Transit", so I decided called their support number on "***" and was told that the lady handling my order was not in office that day but a message will be sent to her to see where my order was. I received no update till the 18th of May when I called the number again and was told that this will be escalated and I will receive my order by the 20th of May.

On the 19th of May, I looked at the order tracking and it said that it was "Delivered". I was shocked as I had not received my mirror.

On the 20th of May, I called the number again, was told by the 1st representative to wait while she went to see what happened. I waited on the line for 15 min and their phone dropped after that. I called again, spoke to another representative and I was told again to wait while she went to see what happened. Guess WHAT!!!! I waited another 15 min and their phone dropped.

I called the 3rd time and asked to speak to the manager but was told by that customer representative that she must first try to help me before escalating the issue. This time I waited for about 5 min and she came back only to tell me that the mirror was damaged AGAIN and that there was a system error that resulted in the "Delivered" on the tracking.

I have since asked to be REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY as this is UNACCEPTABLE.

If I were any of you reading this, I would not order from Mr Price online at all. I have heard horrible stories and I was hopeful that this will not happen to me.

I know that I will not be ordering from them again!!!
