Gift card ***** mr Price at home

My sister received 2 gift cards of R500 each. One from my mother and 1 from me. Seems that internally, someone tried to use the card. Transaction did not go through. So the obvious thing is to cancel it so that it can be used right? Yes, but the customer has to wait until the syatems are updated. Even though their head office telephonically confirms the matter it is impossible to fix through an override. Since it is the last chandelier in stock I the customer, just have to wait while they figure out how to sort this out. No customer concern here. The manager's response? There is so much ***** with these cards they should take ut away!!!! Consumers be aware..... Gift card ***** out of control in Mr Price at home stores!!
