Fool me twice, shame on me

I bought a tv stand from Mr Price Home and decided that i can transport and assemble it myself. It was quite heavy but we managed, only to find that one part was broken and another part was missing.<br> <br> We remained civil and returned everything to the store in its original packaging, and asked that it be delivered and assembled for us. We were told that this would cost R250 and would take 72 hours. This made sense, because we asked for assembly.<br> <br> 72 hours later, the delivery guys delivered it (a 5 minute drive from the store) and informed us that we had not paid for assembly, but only for delivery, and left.<br> <br> 1) The original parts we bought were obviously tampered with.<br> 2) I specifically asked for assembly, but the store clerk ignored this.<br> 3) If i had known that i was paying R250 for a 5 minute drive delivery, i obviously would not have opted for that option.<br> <br> My time and my money has never felt so wasted by incompetence. I want this entire nightmare to just go away. I am currently doing the assembly myself, begrudgingly, but will never set my foot inside another Mr Price Home again.
