False Advertising on the Online store

I recently bought a bed on the Mr. Price Home online store, to my surprise, only the base was delivered. When I contacted the call centre I was informed that I only ordered the base as the description said Mattress Base.

My issue is that when I shop from an online store, I rely heavily on the picture displayed. The photo displayed a bed and mattress. Since I’m no bed expert, how was I to know that the description “Mattress Base” meant “Base Only”. When I saw the picture of a mattress and base and the description mattress base, I concluded that I’m buying both.

This is clearly false advertising. Why can’t Mr. Price just 1. display a photo of only the base or 2. Add a disclaimer “Base Only” or 3. Alert the customer by adding; “Please note that you are purchasing only the base”

Please correct this because I’m probably not going to be the last person who will be confused by incorrect product photos.
