False advertising

The Mr Price Home stores are great! Good value for money and excellent range. Online furniture however - BEWARE!

I ordered a mattress and base set - size double - found under the Mattress and Base section of the website. Stunning pictures of the mattress and base set - close ups and all. They lost my order initially - a week later I called the helpline and someone very sweet and helpful got things on track.

Another week went by, then another- no bed! Finally another helpline person expedited matters and I was told the bed would be delivered in a day or two. Another week later - desperate for the bed - I phoned the courier company who said they had only just received the item - ONE ITEM. Upon further enquiry I was rather rudely told that I had only ordered a base - no mattress and should have seen that on the website.

With no other option since I needed the bed immediately I cancelled the order and went elsewhere. Very disappointed and hoping that a huge fight over my refund is not looming. Avoid online furniture from Mr Price Home!
