False advertising.

Last week on the 31st October 2024 I received a notification from Mr. Price home in the morning on at 7-13 am on a one day only special. The special was a Salton 4 slice toaster code SKU *** @ R 99-00. I immediately tried to buy this toaster just to find out that this does not exist online and in their stores. I tried for a period of +- 4 hours to get hold of this item on line and on the phone to various branches in my area, I even got to Cape Town head office which was very helpful on the problem, but at the end could not help me. I was told by this lady to go to a Mr. Price Home store and ask them to purchase the item online inside the store. I went to the Blueberry store where I was helped by friendly staff that tried for more than an half hour to get this item only to be told that it does not exists. I then went on the WhatsApp chat line and was responded by "Noxolo" that tried for +- half an hour with up and down message's to help me but to no avail and the was told the item out of stock, I kept on as I would have liked an answer on the toaster. It came to light that this item was never part of any of their stock or on a special and that she "Noxolo" will expedite my request to head office and that I will get a response in 72 hours.

This morning I tried again on their WhatsApp messages as I have not received any response or call from Mr. Price Home.

"Rooksana" responded and after answering various questions about the product and asked where I have tried to get hold of the item and all the explanations AGAIN was told this was a 1 day only special last week and that they cannot assist me.

I KNOW this was a 1 day special (*&^$%#%^&&*) Did they have 1 of these items in stock ??????????????? If they did, I could not get ANYONE to confirm this item.

I just want to let all know that this item did not exist on a 1 day special and that it is TOTALLY misrepresentation and false of advertising.

I can supply all recorded calls and WhatsApp messages.

I have spent more than 8 hours on the phone and then driving around as instructed by Mr. Price home staff.

Now again I am receiving BLACK FRIDAY SPECIALS, don't know if anything will be as they are advertising.
