Failure to close MRP Money account after months of trying

After opening an account, paying the total amount on account and then attempting to close it I have gone through MONTHS of attempts to get the account closed. I receive numerous phone calls letting me know of the monthly fees still being charged against my account and in my (numerous attempts) at trying to solve the problem telephonically, it gets "escalated to a manager" time and again with no effect. Store staff are always helpful and friendly, but the accounts department has caused a lot of frustration and even credit record problems.
